I am so thankful for all the resources that the Susan G. Komen website provide for walkers. I'd rather not read about "lateral knee pain," "blisters" and "shin splints" but they are all part of the training and walk. Just now I was looking over my 24 week training guide and saw that 5 weeks before the event I need to be walking 44 miles that week. I sat here, shocked, for about 40 seconds before I chuckled to myself realizing I will be walking 60 miles in only 3 days not too long after that.
210 days. Here we go.
